Voices of Valour

KorMalta will be part of the Malta International Arts Festival on Saturday 15th June at 19:30 & 21:00 at Grand Master's Palace, Valletta
A selection of 16th century choral works will be presented in different courtyards, halls and staircases, to create a site specific experience enhanced by the magnificent Baroque architecture of the venue. The programme, selected by choirmaster Riccardo Bianchi consists of madrigals and hymns composed to celebrate battle victories across Europe, including the victory of the great siege of Malta of 1565.
TESTIMONIALS
The true mettle of a choral group is their ability to sing unaccompanied work well. This small ensemble from within KorMalta performed these works very well indeed and in different styles, idioms and that with great facility.
