Female Ensemble – French Choral Music

An intimate and sacred concert by a female choir based on French music with a special focus on Gabriel Faure and his contemporaries. During the nineteenth century various dynamics were at work aimed at giving new impetus to choral music. The lyrical art in French, in all its forms, offers the public numerous choirs that, depending on the success on the scene, come alongside the concert programs. In parallel, the different movements of rehabilitation of religious music in France are based more specifically on a choral repertoire inspired by the return to ancient melodious traditions.
